Science Communications is recruiting new Editorial Board members. It is our vision that Science Communications will become the premier journal for high school students’ research output with a profound impact on their career development. Therefore, we must ensure that we are able to cope with increased submissions while maintaining high editorial standards. Therefore, we are looking to expand our editorial team.

What are the roles and responsibilities of an Editorial Board member?
Primarily responsible* for selecting and inviting suitable reviewers, and recommending decisions based on peer reviewers' reports and their own assessment while adhering to the journal's editorial policies. (*Editorial Board members are not responsible for assessing manuscripts for their suitability for peer review.)
Typically handle one new manuscript per month at most.
What are the requirements to apply?
We encourage applications from researchers and educators (including high school teachers) with a background in a range of subject areas, broadly covered by the below. We acknowledge that your unique perspective and expertise would make a valuable addition to our editorial board.
Biological sciences
Business and commerce
Earth and environmental sciences
Health sciences
Humanities
Physical sciences
Scientific community and society
Social science
Suitable candidates should have one or more qualifications listed below:
Demonstrable expertise that fits within the scope and the need of the journal
A minimum of h-index 5
A doctorate or equivalent qualification
