Editorial Policies

Submission of a manuscript to Science Communications implies that all authors have read and agreed to its content and that the manuscript conforms to the journal’s policies. If further clarification is required, the Editor may contact the authors at submission.

In general, each author is expected to have made substantial contributions to the work. In addition, Science Communications requires authors to declare all competing interests in relation to their work.

Science Communications will not consider any manuscript or component of a manuscript that has been published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Researching involving human participants, human material, or human data must have been performed in accordance with the same standards of professional scientific journals, Science, Nature.

Images presented in the work should correctly represent the original data. In addition, artificial intelligence tools, such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, cannot be authors.

Science Communications follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines in dealing with cases of suspected misconduct (including data falsification and fabrication, plagiarism).

Science Communications is committed to correcting errors in published papers in order to maintain the integrity of the scientific record. Readers with concerns regarding the integrity of an article published in Science Communications should contact info.sciencecommunications@gmail.com.

Science Communications operates a single-blind peer review process. Acceptance of submitted manuscripts is guided by both the advisory board and editorial board. Editors will treat all manuscripts submitted to Science Communications in confidence.


The editors reserve the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with Editorial Policies.
